Life. An Abstract Organisation Of Frequencies

The work is designed as a tracing of an unfolding of a life (my life to some extent), as a journey through various sonic and visual aesthetics, that are imagined or were present during my youth and childhood.
Every track represents a different approach to sound, making use of different instruments and production aesthetics.
The sonic story is told in reverse chronology. It starts from the moment of death and moves towards the gestation of a baby in a womb.
Inspired by Martin Amis’s “Time’s Arrow” and the novel’s formal structure, the title is a nod to George Perec’s “Life. A User’s Manual”.
Except track 2, every track has an accompanying video available at Vimeo and YouTube (links below), possibly providing additional depth and context to my efforts. Majority of audio recorded at home in various locations.
